The first grow tents were built in 1798 by someone from Germany. Originally it was called some obscure scientific name, but I don’t remember what that was at this moment. However I know that this is what originally turned into greenhouses. It was believed that there should be a certain amount of moisture and other good air qualities that should be preserved in an environment to successfully incubate plant growth. This turned out to be true! Go figure! However, it wasn’t until recent years that they developed the proper knowledge to know how to grow plants without soil. There needs to be a good balance between necessary minerals as well as water, air and other aspects. With the proper balance you can grow a plant anywhere in the world even if it is not in its natural environment. This works to bring down the costs of certain spices that normally wouldn’t grow in different environments.
